Description
L-cysteine is a sulfur-containing, non-essential amino acid. It can be made from methionine. As sulfur-containing amino acids, L-cysteine and L-methionine represent the starting substances for all of the body's own sulfur-containing compounds. Sulfur-containing amino acids are used to produce tissue.
N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is the acetylated form (compound with acetic acid) of L-cysteine. Compared to L-cysteine, NAC is generally better tolerated and less susceptible to oxidation.
The compound also occurs naturally as NAC and can be found, for example, in chicken and turkey meat, garlic, eggs but also in various fruits and vegetables. NAC 600 is obtained synthetically and is 100% vegan

Recommended Intake: Take 1 capsule once daily. It is optimal to consume it at least 30 minutes before or after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or, alternatively, with half a freshly squeezed lemon.
