Description
Mamafit is a specially formulated nutrient complex to meet the increased nutrient requirements during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Ffolic acid (vitamin B9) contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. In the preparation GravidaPro of the Femme Nutrition series there are 600 µg of folic acid in the already bioactive form (methyltetrahydrofolate, 5-MTHF), which is easily absorbed in the body as it no longer needs to be converted. In addition, folate normalises the function of the immune system and has a function in cell division. Vitamin B6 supports the regulation of hormone activity.
Pregnant women need more iron, which is necessary for the formation of red blood cells to supply mother and child with sufficient oxygen. If there is an increased need for iron the amount taken can be increased by adding the product NatuGena Iron Vegan or NatuGena Lactoferrin.
Vitamin B12, zinc and iron have a function in cell division, and together with copper, support the immune system. In addition, Mamafit contributes to a normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function through iodine and selenium. In Mamafit are 150 µg iodine and 55µg selenium per daily dose contained.
We recommend for pregnancy and breastfeeding in addition to Mamafit the NatuGena Lipovitamins for a healthy vitamin D level and Norsan Omega 3 for the supply of the fatty acids DHA and EPA.

Recommended Intake: Take 2 capsules once daily. It is optimal to consume it at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 200 ml of still, lukewarm water or optionally with half a freshly squeezed lemon.
Tip: Based on our customers' experiences, we recommend taking MamaFit after a meal, so it is easier to tolerate. This will also be reflected on the label shortly.
If taking zinc on an empty stomach causes nausea, we recommend taking it after a meal.
