Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids (secondary plant substances). They occur increasingly in the retina, especially the macula lutea and the lens of the eye. The macula lutea (yellow spot) is responsible for central vision and is the area of the retina with the greatest density of visual cells.

Recommended Intake: Take 2 capsule once daily. It is optimal to consume it at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or optionally with half a freshly squeezed lemon.
