Libido Woman combines valuable plant extracts from special regions of the earth. The traditional European fenugreek together with branded raw materials from the Ashwaghanda and the Maca root, which have been tested in studies, inspire with their effect. Exotic plants such as the potency tree and saffron, as well as the refreshing vital mushrooms Reishi and Cordyceps find room in this formula and support the body in many ways, at the same time vitamin B6 can have a positive effect on hormonal activity.

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) contains many minerals and vitamins as well as important secondary plant substances such as flavonoids and saponins. It also contains substances from the group of triterpenes. Our body's own steroid hormones testosterone and estrogen also belong to the triterpenes. Fenugreek also contains diosgenin, which is also found in the body as a precursor to the formation of steroid hormones. Fenugreek has been used in folklore for a long time. Hildegard von Bingen and Sebastian Kneipp already appreciated this tasty member of the butterfly family. Seeds of fenugreek were even found in the tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamen.
 
Ashwagandha root is traditionally established in Ayurvedic medicine and is also known as ""Indian ginseng"". It is widely used as an herbal adaptogen. The Ashwagandha KSM-66 used is extracted exclusively from the root of the plant and thus contains far more secondary plant substances (with anolides) than the conventional form. It is a high-quality form of ashwangandha.
 
The potency tree (Ptychopetalum olacoides) is found in northern South America, in French Guiana, Guyana and Suriname as well as in Brazil and belongs to the plant family of the Olacaceae. In the folk medicine of the Native Americans, however, the tree has been used for many centuries. There it is known as Muira Puama and is particularly popular because of its aphrodisiac properties. In Europe, this tree has only been known for 100 years.

Maca is a root from the Andes and is known there for its vitalizing and energizing effect. Maca powder contains 14% protein and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The high content of antioxidants, such as selenium, helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress and free radicals. The Maca extract used here is obtained from high-quality Maca roots (Lepidium meyenii, syn. Lepidium peruvianum Ch.) from the high Andean regions.  Maca roots from these regions have a higher content of secondary plant compounds compared to Maca from low altitudes, as they grow under more conditions and thus produce a greater difficult number of protective substances in higher concentrations.  It has the highest natural contents of macamides, macaenes, lepidin A and B as well as macaridins.

These ingredients are responsible for the many beneficial properties.  We recommend Maca to support the psyche, libido (of men and women) and for women after menopause. 

Extracts of saffron and rice powder are used in naturopathy to reduce stress. In traditional Chinese medicine, medicinal mushrooms such as cordyceps extract are credited with performance-enhancing and potentially invigorating effects. Vitamins B6, B9 and B12 play an important role in the body's energy production. They are involved in various metabolic processes that lead to the conversion of nutrients into energy. They are also involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters and support normal functioning of the nervous system. All B vitamins are contained in their bioactive form.

Recommended Intake: Take 4 capsules once daily, alternatively 2 capsules twice daily. It is ideal to consume it with a high-fat meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or optionally with a teaspoon of omega-3 oil to increase bioavailability.
