Description
Glutathione Activator consists of 100% reduced glutathione and all co-factors such as MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), R-alpha lipoic acid, magnesium and occasionally bioactive B vitamins.
Glutathione (GSH) is a water-soluble tripeptide made up of three amino acids: glycine, cysteine and glutamic acid. It is the most common intracellular small molecular peptide with a thiol group.
Glutathione is found in all tissues of mammals and is particularly highly concentrated in the liver.
Our body needs a proper balance of nutrients to stay healthy. Glutathione (GSH) is a ubiquitous intracellular peptide and is essential for the proper functioning of every cell type. The role of endogenous glutathione (GSH) as the “master antioxidant” is well known. In addition to antioxidant defense, glutathione exerts various functions including detoxification, maintenance of thiol status, and modulation of cell proliferation.
Since glutathione is a substance produced by the body, it is not one of the essential nutrients and therefore does not necessarily have to be consumed with food. Nevertheless, glutathione is also present in foods, although it is unclear to what extent this glutathione content can actually contribute to increasing the body's glutathione levels. The frontrunners in the area of plant-based foods are asparagus with 28 mg GSH content/100g and avocados with 27.7 mg GSH/100g.

Recommended Intake: Take 5 capsules once a day, ideally consumed with a high-fat meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or optionally with a teaspoon of omega-3 oil to increase bioavailability.
Tip: If taking zinc on an empty stomach causes nausea, we recommend taking it with a meal.
